Join Mark Borodovsky group as a postdoc in the interdisciplinary Bioinformatics and Computational Genomics Center at Georgia Tech Located in the new Klaus Advanced Computing Building on striving Georgia Tech campus.
Current and future research & development topics include:
  • Modeling of genome and gene organization
  • Discovery of function related and conserved in evolution patterns in DNA and proteins
  • Design of new machine learning algorithms for gene prediction in eukaryotic, metagenomic and viral DNA and for identification of function determinants in proteins (see our group website)
You will collaborate with leading sequencing and annotation centers, NCBI, JCVI, DOE JGI, Broad Institute and lead a project.
You should have a PhD in applied mathematics,computational physics or chemistry, biomedical or electrical engineering, computer science or bioinformatics.
